$2,000 Scholarship Opportunity | TVAMP

In honor of our 10th Anniversary, we’re starting something new! To heighten the awareness of personal financial management among graduating high school seniors, we created a scholarship opportunity! This summer, we will award one deserving student $2,000.00! On April 7, we will begin accepting Scholarship Applications! The deadline to apply is May 14, 2021.

Any graduating high school student who is a child, niece, nephew, grandchild, or great-grandchild of a current TVAMP client. The student must have plans to attend any post-secondary educational institution. The scholarship will be limited to the first-year cost of tuition.

Application Process

Student must satisfactorily submit the following:

  • Completed scholarship application
  • A 500-word essay: What Financial Responsibility Means to You
  • Provide a current academic record (transcript)
  • List of recent community service work, extracurricular activities, and work experience
The Selection Process

A committee comprised of TVAMP clients will be selected to review all eligible applications. All applicants’ names will be removed from the selection process to ensure objectivity. Clients who may have a conflict of interest with an applicant will not serve on the selection committee. Employees and families of TVAMP are not eligible for the scholarship.

We plan to announce the winner by the end of June. We hope you will encourage eligible family members to participate in this exciting opportunity. If you would like more information, please contact our office: (865) 226-9982
