A focused family man – with a list
Jeff Foster’s favorite place to be is anywhere with his family: dinners at home, gymnastics meets, boating on Lake Loudon, UT sporting events or vacationing. He Crossfits daily, practices Krav Maga and is an active Rotarian. Jeff is an avid list maker (ever heard of the Bullet Journal method?) with the ability to see the big picture. He says, “With big picture goals in mind, you can more easily make small, everyday decisions.” Jeff has made a few of his bucket list items reality – including playing three years of professional baseball and cycling the backroads of France and Italy.
Recently, Jeff has been training to ride in the Race Across America (RAAM). In June, he and five teammates will embark on the 3100-mile bicycle ride that stretches from California to Maryland. The team will be riding to raise money for causes dear to their hearts.
Two years ago, Jeff and his family opened their home to two out-of-town student-athletes so they could train with a Knoxville-based gymnastics team. Investing in others is important to Jeff. At TVAMP, he makes it part of his job to mentor our younger advisors. One of his favorite quotes to live by is “Nothing can take the place of persistence.”
