Hi everyone! My name is Emmalee Holt, and I’ve been interning here at TVAMP since November 2016. My time here has been filled with challenging new projects and experiences that pushed me to be a better student and worker. Some of my favorite tasks have been providing services to clients that you all may not see, like helping Kallee out with all she does and doing investments research. I’ve gained so much respect for the advisors and all the work they do for their clients!

I just finished up my 8th semester at UT and will be graduating in December. It’s very motivating being able to use topics and theories from my courses at work. Interning at TVAMP has also given me invaluable knowledge that’s added so much to my education. Getting work experience as a student is so important in having a well-rounded educational experience. I’m thankful for both TVAMP and the Haslam College of Business for giving me this opportunity.

I’ll be leaving TVAMP at the end of May to move to Memphis for an internship at International Paper working in their corporate finance division. I’m so excited about this new opportunity to explore another area of the industry, but I will miss my TVAMP family!

This semester has been so challenging and rewarding! I am so grateful to all the advisors and staff at TVAMP for making me feel so welcome and for teaching me so much.

Hello! I am Jordan Scott, and I’ve had the pleasure of interning with TVAMP since November of 2016. I might have spoken with you over the phone because one of my responsibilities was helping the advisors with client communication.

I am currently a junior at UT, and will be walking across the stage in December 2017. My major is finance with a concentration in business analytics. Along with client communications, I helped the advisors and the administrative team service some accounts and maintain data in their contact management system. It was rewarding to be able to apply my studies at UT in a real-world environment. Along with the technical skills that I have gained, working at TVAMP has shown me the importance of strong relationships with clients and co-workers. I’ll never forget the positive work environment, and I’ll always value the friendships I made during my time here!

This summer, after a brief family vacation, I will remain in Knoxville to intern at TVA in their business planning and analytics division. I look forward to applying the knowledge that I have gained at TVAMP to my future opportunities! I am thankful for this learning opportunity and experience that will be beneficial to me once I enter the professional world as a college graduate.
