Professional Background
Michael Conaty has a background in teaching and believes education is the most empowering force in the world – a belief he carried over into his career as a Wealth Advisor. He has worked with Knoxvillians for the past 20 years. Michael joined TVAMP in 2016, and prior to that, he was with FTB Advisors. Michael is from Huntington, West Virginia. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Michael takes time to build a relationship with each of his clients, helps them get their financial house in order, and learns about their wants and needs before giving any recommendations or advice. Then, he helps them put strategies into place to actively pursue their goals (retiring comfortably, leaving their financial house in order upon their passing, transferring wealth to heirs and/or charity, etc). Michael has over three decades of experience in multi-generational financial planning.

When Michael isn’t working… 
Michael enjoys traveling and tending to his garden. He is also is an active member of his church.
