Amanda Wilson grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where the Chesapeake Bay was 30 miles to the west and the Atlantic Ocean 30 miles to the east. Her grandmother encouraged her to pursue a career in financial services, thinking it would keep her close to home. Instead, it led her to New York, Baltimore, and eventually Knoxville.

Prior to joining TVAMP, Amanda worked for United Way of Greater Knoxville for a year and Morgan Stanley for 16 years. As a Service Advisor at TVAMP, she works closely with clients and Wealth Advisors—preparing for meetings, participating in discussions, and following through on next steps. She enjoys building relationships and making sure clients feel supported every step of the way.

Amanda has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Delaware.

She and her husband live in Powell with their daughter and their Dalmatian. Outside of work, Amanda stays active in the community by volunteering with Church Street UMC’s Soup Kitchen and local Knoxville schools. She loves baking, traveling, cheering on the Baltimore Orioles (she’s visited 16 of the 30 MLB ballparks!), and catching Broadway shows at the Tennessee Theatre. More than anything, she values time with her family.
