Service has always been a part of Jeff’s life, whether it’s helping to meet the financial, spiritual, or basic needs of the people within his community. Jeff says his faith is a large part of what makes his practice so special. This faith stretches far beyond the walls of his church in LaFollette and into the relationships he builds with each client. That type of genuine care and concern comes from finding a calling and not just a career. As one of the founding partners, Jeff helps lead our team of advisors and administrative staff.

Jeff joined the military during his coursework at the University of Tennessee. Right after that, he went on to Louisiana Tech University to earn a master’s degree in business administration. Jeff Sweat served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force from 1993 to 1997. Then, he became a financial advisor with Edward Jones and later opened an independent practice in 2006.
